There is more than one way to be creative. Sometimes I think I may have tried them all. I was a professional musician (violinist) for many years in Los Angeles (my birthplace), in small towns in South Dakota, as well as in Denver. I was also privileged to play in the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra for four seasons. In the 80's I was a pastor for 8 years (South Dakota) and had some books published in the 90's.

However, over the last few years I have been working very hard on liturgical poster art. Using the computer and computer software is similar to learning a musical instrument: You work to gain technique so you can express the heart of the music. It is very much the same for creating poster art. The computer is a art tool like any other and can be used just as as expressively.

Currently I live in Denver, Colorado with my wife of 40 years, Jane, as well as my cat (Tommy) and dog (Stella, a border collie).
